Deduct 45 min break: 510 - 45 = 465 minutes.

465 / 60 = 7 hours 45 minutes = 7.75 decimal hours.

7.75 hrs × $24/hr = $186.00.

Result: Total shift is 7 hours 45 minutes (7.75 hrs). Gross earnings: $186.00.
