Sexagesimal Time Summation

Time values are converted to total base seconds, summed or differenced, then converted back into modulo 60 minutes and hours.

Worked Example

Scenario: A project task took 2 hours 45 minutes on Monday and 1 hour 35 minutes on Tuesday.

Time 1: 2h 45m = 165 minutes.

Time 2: 1h 35m = 95 minutes.

Sum: 165 + 95 = 260 minutes.

260 / 60 = 4 hours and 20 minutes (4.33 decimal hours).
